hi my name is david. i live in basel, switzerland. i love to travel, drink coffee and do creative stuff.

since i was a child, i have been fascinated by painting and design. at the age of 7 i got my first analog camera from my parents. the resulting pictures were developed and attached to my children's room wall. my favorite time to take pictures is when i am traveling. i love to immerse myself in foreign cultures and get to know the local people. i really appreciate the opportunity to capture experiences and moments with the camera. in 2016, i jumped on the digitization bandwagon and all pictures from then on are captured with a fujifilm xt-2. painting, on the other hand, i still prefer to do analog on paper or canvas. it has a calming effect for me to sit down, get started on a white surface and let my creativity run free. i would say that i am currently still in an artistic discovery phase and try out many different materials, colors and styles. this, on the other hand, opens up a lot of possibilities for me and does not limit me in the process of making art.
